We have had nothing but trouble with getting quality work completed in a timely manner. They do not honor their commitments and there have been continued cost increases throughout the project that started in late March and has yet to be completed in late July. This project was originally quoted to be completed in 6 weeks. They even made me pay more for solid core doors only to install hollow doors. I have had to work with subcontractors on my own because they have had a lot of attrition of their PMs, some of which were ineffective at project management. I don't understand what I'm paying this company for when I'm effectively managing the project myself. We were promised white glove service of not having to work with contractors directly and it has not been our experience at all. They have no respect for those that work from home and constantly require last minute contact which has been extremely disruptive to my job. In my vast experience, I have worked with countless contractors across our 3 properties and none of them have been this unprofessional and lack this much integrity. I caution you to stay far away from Elkstone as they have been a complete headache to us for months now. They will leave you with shoddy and sloppy work and will not honor their warranty. They are not to be trusted as they will not fix anything without extreme resistance and a fight.
