I would NOT recommend Aaron Elrod. Early into our down-to-the-studs renovation it became clear that Aaron was not accustomed to handling this scope of project. He continually short ordered materials and did not schedule his subs in a timely manner. This resulted in our completion date running 4 months over what was stated in the contract. Furthermore, once he took the final draw on the project and all parties agreed and signed off on the lien waiver, he sent a fraudulent invoice and refused to provide receipts to back-up the work cited. He then sued us for the amount written on the invoice, and we had to incur legal costs to ultimately have the suit dismissed. The entire ordeal lasted over 15 months from beginning to end and ultimately resulted in work that was never finished and an unfounded lawsuit. There are better contractors in Charlotte.
