I have used ELS on 3 rentals and my So. Hills home (complete redo of all windows) and hillside guest house (custom design two 53" x 96" windows). Eric is the best.

I'm the writer who wrote the first and the only review on ELS Windows & Doors that only sells and installs Milgard windows and doors. ELS ordered the Milgard products from the Temecula Milgard manufacturer. When I wrote my first review, I was a bit overwhelmed by the sudden change of the noise level reduction. It's a day and night difference and I was maybe too excited to notice the things that I should have noticed after they finished the job. Almost all of the window openings were damaged, the frames that squared out the window openings were damaged when they took out the old windows by force carelessly. The 90 degree angled metal guards with sheetrocks and painted over that squared out the window openings, almost every one of them were damaged by ELS workers. The most serious opening damage is in the upstairs bathroom. The lower sill was completely ruined, deformed and dented. It just looked like the opening was excavated by a bulldozer! The window metal frame of the sill was completely deformed and damaged beyond repair. When they finished the job, they threw away one of the louvers of the upstairs bathroom and didn't bother to check there's one missing. Several control rods that to adjust the windows louvers were also missing. Damages are everywhere around the windows frames.

The other important thing I like to point out here is: The Q.C. of the Milgard Windows is terrible and their repairing service ELS provided and connected to that Milgard manufacturer in Temecula is even worse. Here's the review I contributed on Yelp.com about Milgard so-called Lifetime Warranty:

Here's the fact that I've got from Its Customer Service:
We've replaced all of our old windows by ELS Windows & Doors in Walnut. The reason why to replace them was some of the windows got moisture built up inside and turned foggy. ElS did an okay job but damaged lot of the window frames when taking out the old one by force carelessly. Many frames around the newly replaced windows were seriously damaged with dents. After couple of months when winter came, we noticed there are two windows in the breakfast nook fogged up in the early cold morning, but the moisture would disappear when the sun and temperature came up. Also, one of the sliding up/down windows, the wire's tension is too high or too tight, we have to use force to press it down to close it; if not forceful enough, it'd bounce up abruptly.

We called Eric at ELS and he came to verify our problems, then informed us that he'd sent an repair request to this Milgard Service in Temecula and recommended us to contact them directly.

When I called this Temecula Mildgard. The customer service woman told me the following:
    1) Milgard windows foggy up inside is a common and normal symptom.
    2) If your windows turned foggy, it's because of your windows' locations
    3) Since your Milgard windows & doors got lifetime warranty, you don't have to replace just these 2 windows, better wait until more windows or doors turning foggy, and then we could replace them all.
    4) We'd send a guy over on 11/08/2019 to correct the tight sliding up/down window only, but will not repair or replace the other two foggy-up windows.

I don't have to write all the arguments and the logic problems that I've pointed out to her here, such as:

"It's a normal symptoms that Milgard windows foggy up inside,"
"If the moisture disappeared when sun's up and the temperature's up. It also means this problem is not serious enough yet."
"It's your windows' location causing the the moisture going inside and fogged them up."
"You've got Lifetime Warranty, so don't worry, until...."

So, the reason why we decided to replace the old windows was because of the foggy inside, and we hire a 2-rate installer to replace Milgard Windows to have the same foggy-up problem and it's normal? If it's because the locations of your windows that cause moisture build inside, then why our old windows at these same locations never got such moisture built up inside problems?
So Milgard Windows' "Lifetime Warranty" means when most of your Milgard Windows turn bad and got moisture built up inside and won't disappear, then WE might replace them. Until then, holding your breath.

How could we Make America Great Again if we don't even have the basic Q.C. know-how and workmanship to make an air-tight double-pane window? Making America Great Again is not by ridiculous excuses or nonsense to fool American customers.

Don't want your new windows to have moisture built-up and turn foggy inside? LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

    Unquote.

And when I emailed ELS's owner/operatior, Eric, about this so -called Repairing Service, I never received any word from him.

    Whole house old windows replacement
    $13,891

"Great Milgard Windows and Doors seller and installer. Have recently replaced all of our windows by Els. Eric, owner/sales of Els has saved us many thousands of dollars, if you didn't try to find other Milgard installing stores to quote for the same numbers of your home windows and the exact same requirements that you needed for your new Milgard brand windows, you won't have the shocking knowledge of how much different estimates others people might have ripped you off. Our house in Yorba Linda in this small Cul-de-sac now is the only one with all nice-looking new modern windows!! That's why we have already given two more whole windows replacement projects for our friends, one in Irvine and one in Diamond Bar, to the hardworking Eric and his good company. "

I'd like to keep my old review as the above only for the purpose of showing how naive and stupid I was and I am now. The following review is the realistic one that I've actually experienced since 2017 after the replacement of my home's windows and doors by ELS, and the so-called Milgard Windows & Doors Lifetime Warranty:

I'm the writer who wrote the first and the single review on ELS Windows & Doors that only sells and installs Milgard windows and doors. 1/2 Star for ELS, double 0 Star for the Temecula Midgard manufacturer and their customer service, triple 0 Star for the MILGARD brand.
