I am 75 years old and. Eric ripped me off On 02/26/2020, I entered into a contract for refinishing my basement and building a deck on the back of my home to replace a small rotten porch. Total contract was for $47,250.00 with initial payment of $15,750.00 with work to start on 02/02/2020. All went well until the pandemic when work halted, but before they left, I made another payment of $15,750.00. They did not return until the fall and only after I contacted them. At this time, work is sporadic. The old porch is gone with a temporary ramp replacing it. The basement is still not suitable for occupancy. It is intended to be a home for my daughter and her sons to move into after her father-in-law died. He passed in February. Eric does not respond routinely to calls or texts. To date, I have payed a total of $57,512.00 plus an additional $124.00 in cash when the store would not accept his credit card. I am willing to negotiate work, but can't when he doesn't return calls!!
