I hired U.S. Leak Detection by Emerald Coast Pools, Inc. to find a possible leak in my pool. Yes, the staff and guy who came out to dive the pool was very nice, but the leak was not identified properly. He said it was in the steps and recommended they be replaced. He put some putty on the abrasions in the steps temporarily and the pool was still losing water and the putty came off within 3 days. Upon getting an estimate to replace the steps, the pool company I was going to use recommended another company dive the pool because they said it is very rarely the steps. The other company found the leak in the light and repaired it and I have had no water loss since then. The report said that they checked the light but obviously not well. I called to explain my situation and US Leak Detection (Emerald Coast Pools. Inc) said that since I didn't call them back to come back out that they would not refund me any money. So, it was $300.00 wasted. I didn't even get to speak to a supervisor. The girl who answered the phone did the back and forth with the supervisor. Again, she was very nice but it didn't help my situation. I would not recommend this company!
