After one big mistake was done on a wall, everything went down hill. Not even his employees were happy with Fernando’s response time that held them back from what I was told by them to finish. The job was rushed after that. Paint was not applied properly the floor was not cleaned and painted properly. I requested a refund for the poor work done and got a quote from another contractor who saw how bad the work was done and gave me a quote to fix and do it right. Fernando refused to reimburse me and said he would personally do the job himself. I decided to allow this which seemed to be a huge mistake. He would come when ever he could because he had other jobs to do and also had to pay his bills, mean while I could not work until his job was done. He re-painted both floors and wall paint from the previous rushed job by his employees who said he told them to hurry because he needed another job done. They never cleaned the floor nor the walls properly and now there are issues with the floor with paint chipping. He said this paint was made for a garage and would work. It stains, it strips and now he is claiming it is because I did not want him to clean the floor properly for a different type of flooring “epoxy paint” which at this point I was not confident that he could actually do that job either. This is just a bit to go on but be careful in hiring him and make sure he tells you and writes down exactly everything that you are suppose to know before you sign a contract. He will use his favorite line, “That is not in the SCOPE of my work.” Good luck I now need to hire someone to clean and paint my floors correctly.
