  Split boards, stain poorly applied and needed to be redone in a year's time. Not impressed.

  I have been a long standing customer of Valentin’s for many reasons:
  - He is a professional with European craftsmanship !
  - Because of his extensive knowledge of the products he works with, he was able to guide me to choose the correct materials for the many jobs around my home... 2 attached decks & a free standing one in the backyard
  - He has given me accurate & fair quotes. I have never encountered any additional fees
  - He & his team are “clean” workers. Rubbish from old decking was neatly removed & the area cleaned of all debris. Tools are utilized with care & packed carefully at the end of the day... sign of a real craftsman !
  - He & his workers are always courteous to each other & me
  - I have ALWAYS been pleased with the work
  - Valentin is a family man with sound values.
  The EMPIRE DECK team is a credit to the profession.

  Pool deck

  Everything about this company is great...Valentin is easy to reach and returns calls immediately. His team works quickly and proficiently, and the work they do is top-notch. They completed a 12' x 22' pool deck in a day, at a price that was hundreds of dollars cheaper than other quotes I received.

  Porch

  Val missed my first call and called me right back. He was so sorry he came at 8:00am on Fathers day to give me an estimate. He is a real perfectionist in his work. I love the way my front porch came. It is nice to have a person who really knows how to build a porch. I am very pleased with the work. He cleaned up and took all the garbage with him. If you are looking for a true craftsman who works on the job with his crew use Val of Empire decks. A very satisfied customer. Laura G.
