Horrible company! I had Empire Pools do my pool opening. They did not set up the filter properly. There was an O-Ring in perfect condition on the ground when they left which caused air build-up in my system. They also did not apply the proper lubricant to the filter to ensure proper suction in my gasket. After they left, I tried vacuuming my pool but did not get good suction. My vacuum worked perfectly last summer. I called and spoke to Mike the owner to ask him if they put earth in the filter because I was not monitoring everything the entire time. Mike called his worker to ask and his worker told him that he did. Mike recommended that I backwash the pool. After backwashing, I found out the his worker lied to Mike as no earth came out when I backwashed. After explaining this to Mike, he was very disrespectful and tried to manipulate the situation like it was my fault. I figured he would send one of his techs out to fix the issue at no charge since they lied about the earth and the filter was not set up correctly to begin with. He told me he would have to charge me for a service call which is complete BS since the job was not done correctly to begin with and they lied about putting the earth in the filter! Mike showed his true colors towards the end of the phone call. He became extremely nasty with me and took a very thug, gangster like approach with his tone. He called my cell phone multiple times after I asked him never to contact me again (with a blocked caller ID) and left me threatening messages. Stay away from this company!
