A dear friend of mine recommended EMR to me but I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews on this site. I decided to contact Michael Rosebar for an estimate to replace the central air unit and duct work in our home. I had to leave a message for Mr. Rosebar but he returned my call promptly and was able to meet with me the next morning. I told him exactly what I wanted and he went over my options with me. I was impressed with Mr. Rosebar's knowledge and professionalism so I decided to go with his company for the work I needed done. Just as promised, the job was done in 2 days and the estimate (and final price) was hundreds less than the 2 other companies I inquired about. I am very glad that I took the other reviews with a grain of salt because we are satisfied with the work that was done and would use this company again.

I feel very bad for those that received bad service from EMR Construction however when I get big contracts and subcontract to Mr. Rosebar and his business associates have always been consistent . It seems that more customers that have had a bad result are on this site than those that have had great results...that being said when things go great you normally do not hear anything and everyone moves On. One of the reasons my company subcontracts with EMR is because he does hire African American men and nowadays he one of the only contractors that is a true minority contractor. I urge those of you that have had a great experience with EMR to step up. As it is very hard to continue to find minority contractors that are about their work!

Mr. Rosebar is a fraud and will take any opportunity to run off with your money, while not even attempting to do the scope of work. He uses unskilled workers that drink alcohol and smoke pot on the job site. He uses any excuse to lien your property as a scare tactic and treats clients and workers like scum.

This contractor is a fraud. He has a team of people with what appeared to be substance abuse issues, and Mr. Rosebar has some presenting issues. I had the same experience as the other ratings. This person did not finish the work that was contracted, left workmen in the house at all hours of the night and when pressed about his work, was rude,. He was a lying fast talker, and never returned the bulk of the money paid to him for work not done. He is not responsive to telephone calls and is an absolute scam. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR.

Mr. Rosebar was contracted to refinish wooden floors, repaint the downstairs interior, and replace a furnace and central air conditioning unit beginning in October 2011. He was to have completed the work by January 2012. He insisted in being paid in cash up front ($8,400) and received the final payment in mid-December 2011. To date, he has done none of the work except to remove the old furnace and air conditioning unit (presumably to sell for salvage) and has returned none of the money that was given to hem. The house was left with no heat over the winter, and another company had to be hired to replace the furnace and air conditioning unit in late spring. I will never make the mistake of hiring Mr. Rosebar again!

Michael Rosebar is a thief and has stolen $5700 from me by not completing frunace work. I had to get Air Temp to put in a new furnace for me!
