I interviewed 4 possible contractors for a gut renovation in Bucktown. Javier, the owner of ENC, as well as his superintendents and other workers, stood heads above the rest of the highly recommended contractors. Javier is deeply knowledgeable about construction management, materials, design, and cost management. He worked closely with my architect to optimize the plans for cost savings. He and his office administrator returned extensive paperwork to my construction lender within hours in order to help expedite our loan process. His professionalism and attention to detail are off the charts. We would use him on any project in this future -- large or small -- and would recommend him to anyone looking for an honorable, honest, and super-organized general contractor.
