My husband and I researched pool builders for months before selecting Encore. We choose them as they appeared honest, ethical, were local, no BBB complaints (at the time), and appeared to have a strong warranty on top of a 'great product'. Sadly, once a builder is selected, the customer is "locked in". Our 'red flags' began shortly after the project began. Before the pool was completed, Encore was expecting SAME day payment. Which, wasn't a problem. However, they were requesting a WIRE! HELLO... cash flow problems? Can't wait for a check to clear? They want US to pay a wire fee? I don't think so! Next, there is an employee 'in management' who is RUDE and NOT allowed on our property because of his ATTITUDE towards women. And, the icing on the cake... a BROKEN POOL FOR OVER A YEAR! This was our first pool. We didn't know what normal salt consumption looked like. Our pool had several leaks! We wasted a GOOD bit of money on chemicals and salt. We learned this after we hired someone to tend to the pool weekly. Our spa has had countless repairs. It takes numerous visits for them to fix what is broken. And, now that we have another leak, they are saying it is 'structural' and no longer under warranty. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! Buyer BEWARE!
