Work done was fine the problem was damages done during. First, a piece of beveled glass broken from an end table. I wasn't going to say anything because I get it, it happens plus it's not terribly expensive to replace. Then next day I noticed the (almost new) less than year-old Samsung dryer all dented and banged up on top because someone didn't take a minute to go get a step ladder to reach over it and just jumped up on it. Now I had to say something. Sure, it's cosmetic not mechanical damage but so what? A lot of money and labor has been spent fixing this house, bringing it up-to-date. What? Like I'm going to put the home on the market with beat up appliances after many thousands of dollars spent fixing it.
It gets better....A weak and a half or two later I go down in basement to grab something from the extra storage chest freezer a few days before Thanksgiving, open it up to a smell so bad of rotten meat and seafood it felt like a smack in the face. All because someone unplugged it never to plug it back in again. All that waste, the smell, the clean-up, the thought of it, the whole thing just made me sick and more angry. All of this should have never happened, ok broken glass it happens, a split-second bad decision to get on dryer rather than get a stool or chair, do you just unplug cords and not even look WTF there going to? Plug it back in especially when it's to chest freezer full of food for God's sake, it's carelessness and/or don't give AF.
After all this they tried claiming the dryer was damaged prior to them working in the basement. BS! Rather than accept responsibility, simply apologize, pay for the minor damages, Energy Savers decides to take a not the end of the world situation and make it far worse trying to defame me. The damages were $1000+ I thought $750 would be fair to settle this. I hadn't received anything after going back and forth so, I suggested if they have a problem reimbursing me the $750 for damages then give it to charity and just show me proof.....neither never happened. NO ACCOUNTABILITY & SCANDALOUS.
