  I hired Ernie Rollins to do a tear out job. He started the job, I paid him half up front, and he completed the job within his time frame of 2 weeks as promised. He was very knowledgeable on concrete work. I would use him again.

  Please do not use Ernest Rollins (aka Atomm) Construction. The owner is very underhanded, takes the money and runs-doesn't come back to finish the job and what little he does complete, is such poor work it has to be redone by someone else. It will cost you dearly if you use him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  this contractor is bad news from every possible vantage point. substandard work, long delays, endless lies and excuses, and finally threats of liens and violence to collect inflated charges not agreed to.

  This contractor came on like a great guy... then he asked for payment, in full, in hard cash (I know I broke the cardinal rule but he was very convincing with his lies), promising to complete the job that following week (gave me his absolute word!) but guess what...he never came back to complete the job and every time I called him, he had another excuse why he didn't show up-again, and this went on for 4 months so now I have to wait until spring to get a 'real' contractor to come finish his job and take Rollins to court so I can pay for it! Also, part of the work he was to come back for included some painting that one of his workers 'pretended' to do and when I got on a ladder to inspect, he had only dabbed some spots of paint in a few areas over the factory primer-Rollins was not willing to correct it either. Some of his workers are extremely poor-when they replaced some wood on my deck, they decided they did not want to haul away the old wood and used my small firepit for a roaring bonfire on a 90 degree day and burned all my bushes and plants in the area... Rollins is extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy.
