Do not hire ESL design!
I hired this company on 06/03/2020 to perform design and engineering for garage conversion ADU in Woodland Hills.
Till today 07/01/2022 I did t receive a permit or final plan. I paid for their service in full but they never completed their job. I requested the plans that I paid for and they refuse to provide.
They presenting that they are licensed architect and engineer but do not have any licensing and using a third party license holder which the licneses holders confirmed that they have no business with ESL design.
As of today 2 years pass the signed agreement I still don’t have the plans nor the permit.

I don't have a good experience with home designers in the past so I was very careful while I was looking designer for my bathroom. Finally I found this company and I like their answers and also they have many great recommendations. They gave me good price and I decided to hire them. Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the best design company I've seen so far. Eran the owner always shows up on time which for me is a really important point to have someone respect my time (Here is the magic, with all of his employees I had the same feeling). They never let you wait more than 5 minutes to call you back and professionally answer your questions even after the design was already approved in the city. I have to say that they were not the cheapest estimate I got in my estimates list. To be honest If you have the money and it's important for you it will definitely be worth it!! From my experience the design is the first thing you do for the upcoming project, today I understand much better how much of an affect a good designer has on what you are going to see in the end of the project. Even if the city has some complicated codes that are not meeting 100% with your dream he and his team will find the way to make it happen and not let you have a hard time with the city during the project. The project is already done (addition of 800 sq ft second story for my house, new kitchen and master bathroom) and I love it!!!! After working with those guys I feel like I made the right decision and in the end of the day for me it is the most important. I definitely will hire Esl designs for any future projects.
