    Proceed with extreme caution if considering their services, as their written agreements are meaningless. Evans and Son Blacktop fail to honor their commitments.

    In August 2023, my parents hired Evans and Son to resurface their driveway. Liset Evans told them that, with full cash payment, they would return within 9-12 months to apply a sealant coating for an additional $150. This agreement was documented in a handwritten contract, signed by both Liset Evans and my father. The contract detailed the $3,800 cash payment, the $150 sealant service, and Liset Evans’s contact information.

    Following the completion of the driveway, my parents were satisfied with the work. However, when my father attempted to follow up on the sealant application from May to July 2024, he contacted Liset Evans over 70 times through 29 phone calls and 44 text messages. Despite numerous attempts, Liset Evans was very unresponsive and eventually ignored him all together. At one point, she suggested hiring a third party because they were just too busy to do it, disregarding the agreement entirely.

    It is evident that Liset Evans never intended to fulfill her commitment and instead just wanted to ensure she received the full payment of $3,800 in cash. My father, a senior citizen, was left with a breached contract and no recourse. Despite my own attempts to address the issue and present the contract, Evans and Son Blacktop have remained indifferent, showing a complete lack of response and disregard for their obligations.

    Below is a list of his attempts to schedule the sealant application, which clearly demonstrates the lack of response and professionalism from both Liset Evans and Evans and Son Blacktop as she represents them, name and all.
