NEVER EVER USE Evergreen Landscape Construction and Alex Deleon. This was an over $40.00 mistake trusting this person and this company. I have pictures, videos, and recordings of the leaks and lies.
After several months of listening to lies, and waiting for his crew to show up, I give up. I decided to let other people know so you won't waste time and money. I have pictures, videos, and recordings of the leaks and lies.
1. I hired Alex and Evergreen Landscape Construction to build a new storage shed next to my home. 10 X 12 with one window and one door. The number one request was NO LEAKS. It rained one week later after I moved the shelves, tools, etc. inside. I opened the shed door the next morning and half the room was flooded. I took pictures and called Alex. It dried and flooded out several more times in the next month before Alex sent someone over to apply a concrete barrier. After the first rain, it still leaked. Two months later after nothing else was done I purchased cans of spray sealant. I applied it to the seam between the wall and the deck. It never leaked again. Right before finishing the first project, and not knowing it leaked, I gave him an expensive 2nd project. Not knowing the extent of the incompetence. With his apologies and showing concern, about the leak in the shed Alex and his crew started the second project.
2. The second project was a roof over my large patio, 4 stone columns, and resurfacing the concrete deck. Alex informed me they would take care of the permits. Two days before completion the city inspector came by. I discovered Alex never applied nor obtained any permits. It took several weeks of working with the city representative to correct this mistake. Once my beautiful roof and deck were finished, three days later it rained. I went on the patio to enjoy the rain. It broke my heart when I saw water running down the walls of my new patio. The roof was leaking. I took videos & plenty of pictures and sent Alex. After several weeks and more rain, Alex finally sent a crew to work on the leaking roof. One week after their repair, it rained again and the roof and walls continued to leak. I was forced to hire a roofing company (at my expense) to redo the entire roof to stop the leaks. The leaks left water stains on the entire ceiling. I was still trying to be understanding and trying to work with Alex. I asked Alex if they would paint or do something about the water-stained ceiling from the leak they produced. Over four months have passed and I was still being patient and waiting and nothing done. I was forced to pay another contract to correct the mistakes they made. Now I am forced to post this and let others know, don’t waste your time and money. Alex with Evergreen Landscape Construction will smile and lie directly to your face. Their work produces nothing but leaks.
