I gave Kevin Sexton, the owner of Evergreen Painters, a check for $440.00, which was a 40% down payment for the work that he was to do on my house. He was to clean, prep, and paint the window and door trim. Kevin walked off the job after having someone at my house for just a few hours at best. I came home mid-afternoon and they were gone, with no sign of any additional work having been done since I left at mid-day. Kevin kept my money and never returned. Nothing was painted. The storm windows were already off of my house and the caulking removed from around the trim, so my home was exposed to the elements. They did not even safeguard my home from the forecast-ed rain. My experience with Evergreen Painters was extremely disappointing.
