DO NOT do business with this company. Buyer beware.
My experience with Froyan and Everlasting Fence began in December of 2019. I contracted with him to do a horizontal fence at a house I just purchased in North Denver. I selected him after receiving 5 bids that were all roughly within $200 of each other. I chose Froyan because he seemed to be honest and he had good reviews which is why I’m taking the time to review my experience here.
His contract comes with a 2-year warranty, which he references in the sales process. It took him and a helper roughly a week to complete a 300 ft fence around the property and 3 gates (which he still uses pictures of in his advertising ironically). They left debris and cigarette butts all over the yard which I would come to discover after the job was complete and the snow melted. They also left product stickers all over the fence pickets which in and of itself wasn’t a huge deal but further showed their lack of professionalism when looking at the full picture. The real issues began in the spring when the pickets started to bow and split, the caps on the top of the fence popped off, and the main gate latch literally fell off into the yard.
I contacted him in March and asked him to come out and look at the fence under the warranty once the stay at home order was lifted. He agreed and did in fact come out in May. We agreed to a solution that he would replace the caps, reinforce the fence so it would stop bowing, and replace 17 pickets. I then scheduled this work with him 5 times and he did not show up on any of those dates. He didn’t even bother to text or call that he wasn’t coming. Finally, he admitted to me that he could not afford the $700 in materials he needed to correct his poor workmanship and repair the fence. I asked him what he could afford, and he said he could do the work $100 at a time. Although not thrilled with that response, I agreed to it because with the pandemic I thought it best to be understanding and even more patient (it had been over 4 months of trying to get the fence worked on at this point, what was another few months if some of the work was being done little by little?). He then gave cancelled on me 3 more times after confirming he’d show up.
I’ve never been so disappointed with a contractor in my life. I’ve gutted entire houses and finished basements and this company is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked with. From the lack of professionalism, lying, and lack of quality workmanship I’d advise you to steer clear of them. They weren’t even the cheapest option, yet he used subpar materials and cut corners every chance he got. Save yourself my headache of now having to involve attorneys to enforce the warranty on a job that was well over $8,000.
