After waiting for several weeks and begging them to finish the work that they got paid for, an individual with no skills was sent to do our deck. Needless to say we are never ever going to hire these guys again.

We just had a difference of opinion on what was considered acceptable work. I saw him when he came to get the first half of the estimate and did not see him again until I called him with workmanship concerns at the end of the second week. The concerns were not addressed. So I told him I would just pay him off and that would be that. There definitely was not enough talking between us. I might also add that as the owner of the company he should check on his crews work, a little more closely. Now I have to hire someone to fix what wasn't completed. In the beginning he said three guys would be on the project. It was mainly just one man, and he had help by another guy 2 days out of the 2 weeks here.
