    Kitchen/bathroom remodel

I vigorously recommend that Scott Sanford be investigated for collecting deposits & abandoning jobs. In fact, Joe G., allegedly no longer employed by Sanford, but difficult to know because of so many lies, notified me that Sanford embezzled my money & had no intention to buy the cabinets & other stock necessary to finish job. Sanford denied this accusation, but cannot produce any proof of ordering cabinets. Now Sanford thinks he’s invisible because he refuses to answer any inquiries.

Like others, I have not had a kitchen for 3 months & suffered through inconveniences & expense from inept work. However, one problem needs to be revealed as it was a definite threat to my neighbors & me. When Joe disconnected the gas stove, he did not seal the pipe properly. When gas fumes invaded my unit, I called him seeking advice. Typically he did not respond. I called National Grid. The service man corrected the problem with the pipe and found it necessary to write a Warning of Hazardous Condition citation to emphasize that this problem was an “immediate hazard.”

It seems that Sanford changes company names, so it is important for buyers to know the name Scott Sanford.

Our experience with this group of contractors was by far the worse ever. Scott was rarely on sight. The very first day, instead of turning the water main back on, one of Scott's helpers turned on the feed to the oil burner and filled the oil burner and consequently filled the water heater which overflowed and squirted out of the relief valve. Scott told us that our water heater was cracked. Next, he had workers demo the bathroom and they broke right through the wall into the new wall in the dining room. We had a a question regarding asbestos and Scott said he facetimed the questionable area to the asebestos specialist. However ~ 7 days later when the asbestos guy came he said all he would've needed was a picture and he would've given the go-ahead. This project started 7/9 and as of two weeks ago Scott, Joe and Ryan have all refused calls and emails. And that was after Joe promised to come out to my house on a Saturday morning to review the list and do a personal review of his own - no show, no return calls. Although they were provided with all the items, codes, pictures - nothing was as planned with the exception of the shower head only because I told them the one they purchased was not the one I ordered - they replaced it. But of course Scott lied about first. He said he only needed that one for parts but somehow installed it anyway. They did send someone to install the vanity and cabinet and mirror - neither were what we picked out and the cabinet was all wrong even though I called the night before and specifically confirmed with Scott that the right cabinet was coming. I can't even use it in the bathroom. Water pools in a corner of the shower, no installation of the shower chair or grab bars. While trying to get the cabinet in, they scraped paint of the newly painted bathroom wall in two places. The bolt at the base of the toilet wasn't cut (no tool) the cap was dangling on it. The shower door shattered on first installation - so upsetting because Scott said it was custom and would take 2 weeks to order - however the worker said that it wasn't and he would just pick up another at home depot next day. When he returned he told us he had purchased a different door but Scott told him to return it and get the cheaper one. The door does not close all the way - leaving space between the glass and the frame. This is a shameful, pathetic job. Pathalogical liars.

Scott Sanford collected a $12,000 deposit from us in May 2019 for a bathroom remodel and never remodeled our bathrooms. He has not returned our money.

Very surprised by some of these reviews. Elite remodeled our bathroom. They were very professional and got the job done as scheduled. They even upgraded our shower head at no additional cost to us. The bathroom came out great and we would definitely recommend them or use them again to do more work.

We hired Elite to remodel our home. We had multiple projects. They first came out to do our walkway and we immediately hired them to build our deck. Their pricing was right on with other contractors. We were quited 3 weeks to build walkway and they were done in 3 weeks with the extra work of building the deck. We highly recommend Elite Home Services. Very satisfied and will call them again for future projects.

    Bathroom remodel
    $29,800

Joe does dangerous electrical work not to NH code, we have the pictures to prove it! We had to hire a licensed electrician to come redo the entire electrical job after they saw what was done here. Our experience is similar to the other 1-star reviews; Joe, Scott, Mike can't be trusted. Joe’s cancer story (and it is a "story") is unbelievable and should have been a red flag on day one of the job. In fact day 1 was about the only day anyone came on time with no excuses.
These folks never completed the job, after the electrical scare and rewire by a licensed electrician elite never came to do another thing. 2 weeks estimate ended at week 12 when we fired the firm (the week before Scott says "Obviously, I am not looking for the final check for the job..." no kidding, elite didn't finish the job of course your not getting any more $$, we're now still scrambling to find folks who can and will finish the job (which has been unfinished now for 4 weeks and counting when the job started April 29 it's been a lot longer), and pray the work that was done isn't shoddy and won't cause more headaches down the road. Don’t believe a single word from Scott, Joe, Mike, or anyone from this firm. Check their reputation around the internet. Save your money, stress, aggravation, time, and the hassle. If we could we’d give 0 stars.
Also be careful, their new voicemail recording says the firms name is now EHSG.

    Kitchen and dining area remodeling
    $34,500

Elite remodeled our kitchen and dining area. I was impressed by their design and building quality. I would highly recommend.

This is the absolute worst company to hire. They make promises that they don’t keep . They take on several jobs with only 3 skilled laborers. They started my job May 6 and this is July 25 and I still have no usable kitchen and my bathroom still isn’t completed. They don’t call you back, they tell you people are coming and you sit around all day waiting many days. They have one excuse after another as to why something isn’t getting done. I made a huge mistake hiring these people for sure.

    Kitchen and bath remodel
    $32,000

Worst company ever to hire. Owners Joe and Scott will make you believe they are there for you and promise the world. Turns out they are totally inexperienced and lead you on with one lie after another. 12 weeks into kitchen and bath Reno and neither job complete yet. One excuse after another. And for some reason Joe feels the need to tell everyone his cancer story, I guess for the sympathy card. AVOID AT All COST

I had the pleasure of working with Elite, they completed my renovation slightly under budget and really did a super job. The quality of the job far and away exceeded my expectation and I highly recommend!
