Contractor took 30,000 deposit and promised to start in one week. Had to hire another contractor to do job and sue Bentley to collect deposit. Bentley settled case with a mediator and did not honor his commitment. Now Bentley being sued for fraud. During this entire time I have met other customers and suppliers Bentley defrauded. He has used the same tactics every customer he defrauded. He will come to the job and leave a piece of equipment so he can say he is working on the project. He will even come and speak with the customer and keep a record of the trip she is at your property but never does any work. Finally the customer give up. FYI do not let him charm you he is very convincing. I believe he commits fraud has no intention of doing the work at all.
