Exxodus Builders is a company that I can truly say has impressed me. Mr. Olivares is honest, patient, professional. His staff whom I have had the pleasure to observe working in my home, are professionals. They arrive early and work with directed focus on what needs to be done. They are polite and every approach to me was done with respect. I appreciate that there is no slacking off. They remain focused on the task at hand. All the work done was completed to perfection. Mr. Olivares was always available in person or on the phone to answer any questions I had. I will always use them again if and when it becomes necessary.

On December I was searching for assistance on a project to build a patio/gazebo and I found Exxodus Builders LLC. Multiple sites offered good reviews and I decided to try them. On Dec 14, 2022, I met Marcos Olivares from Exxodus for a quote. I already had all the materials and I just needed labor. Marcos agreed to do it for $2,000 and I jumped on this good offer. Since I already started the permit’s request from the city, I asked him if he was registered to work in New Braunfels and he said the documents were submitted last week and was expecting approval this week. Sounded good to me, he was very courteous, and looked professional. He requested half of the cost to secure my place in his work list and gave me a receipt. The next day I received an email that he called “contract”. It looked unprofessional, but since I saw the truck with the company’s logo and received a signed receipt I ignored the first sign. After checking the status of Exxodus Builders LLC registration multiple times, sharing the situation with Marcos, receiving information from the city of no registration documents for this company multiple times, and many excuses from Marcos, I decided to cancel our agreement and request my money back on Jan 04, 2023. Marcos agreed to cancel and return my money on Friday, but didn’t mention the time. From this point on I called him multiple times, texted him, and even my wife gave him an opportunity to contact us. However, Marcos disappeared and kept my money. DO NOT TRUST MARCOS OLIVARES OR EXXODUS BUILDERS LLC. IF YOU NEED APPROVAL FROM THE CITY FOR YOUR PROJECT, DON’T USE A COMPANY THAT IS NOT REGISTERED.

I am a Residential Designer in New Braunfels. I saw his truck one day decided to call them. Big mistake. I work from home, and I even invited him into my home to show my work. He even said he would take me and my wife to dinner if I would do the drawings for his client. The invoice was for approx. $1,700.0.
He paid me $500.0. I trusted him and I gave him the completed drawings.
Big mistake. I kept trying to contact him. Finally, he answered, and I ask him for payment of balance for work done. He replied and said he was not going to take off from work just to come and fulfill the balance of invoice. He also added that I could go to hell before he would pay me. He called me again about another project, I guess he forgot who I was. When we first met, he Was Marcos Olivares. This time he was Marcos Aguirre. I wonder who he really is., My mistake was trusting this guy, never again. I sent him an email, and he has not responded. This guy is a scammer do not trust him. This review would not let submit unless I selected a star. I selected one star because there wasn't a zero.
