Facundo Home Builders, Inc. is a custom home builder located in Houston, TX dedicated to creating exceptional quality custom and speculative homes throughout Houston.
Established in 2004 by Miguel Facundo, our aim is to build the highest-caliber homes attainable while employing the best construction methods and materials in the industry.
We specialize in superb custom made homes: timeless, sophisticated designs with an emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency, built with high quality, durable materials by tradesmen dedicated to their craft.
We build no more than ten homes a year, ensuring that no detail is overlooked, working closely with each buyer to meet his or her specifications. When you purchase a Facundo Home, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the building process, and your new home will reflect your personal style.

I couldn't disagree more with the prior review. He was extremely difficult to work with, allowed very limited access to our house while it was being built, and repeatedly charged extra for things that likely would have been included by any other builder. And he has a penchant for dropping a form on his customers the day of closing insisting that they sign away the right to any warranty, right to sue, etc., or he will not close. This guy is bad news. We chose Facundo Home Builder to build out custom home and we couldn't be more happy with the results! Mr. Facundo guided us through the design phase, kept us abreast with the progress of our home. He helped us chose our plumbing and light fixtures, paint colors, cabinet hardware, etc…… We would definitely recommend Miguel Facundo and Facundo Home Builder to anyone building a custom home or doing a remodel project.

Permits

Miguel built for us a two-story duplex, totaling near 5000 sq. ft. in the Houston’s Museum District.
Prior to this project, we had no experience in building a new house. We also live far away from Houston. So, after the architectural drawing was done, we trusted Miguel to make all the decisions in structure, living room, bathroom and kitchen designs, and materials, lightings, cabinets, etc. The duplex has one unit on the 1st floor and the other on the 2nd floor, with elevator access. In addition, there is 400 sq.ft. space with toilet and storage on the rooftop. The construction project progressed from beginning to end in 18 months with little oversight from us.
However, the finished building is excellent, which has many nice touches only an experienced builder would know about. Inside the duplex, there are plenty of custom-built cabinets. The neighborhood has had many new residential constructions. However, the duplex stands out in the neighborhood with its awesome exteriors and balcony. We were able to lease out both units at high rents the moment the construction was completed.
