I have had a couple projects done by Faden Builders, hands down the best group of people to work with.

Terrible experience dealing with them! They came out, gave us a quote, we signed it and sent the deposit within the 10 days they gave us. All was good! Two weeks later they called and said, "lumber has gone up we can't honor the contract. They sent " another" contract $8000.00 more! We signed it and got it to them in the time frame. All was good. Two weeks later they called and said," we can't make enough money on this project we're returning your deposit and can't do the job".
We did everything they ask us to do and still would not honor " their"contract!
A contract obviously means nothing to Faden builders! So, even if you " sign" their contract it means nothing.
Phil was great to work with and he said," it's above my head and can't do anything". I asked for his boss to give me a call so we could discuss it to which he said he would relay the info. I never received e call back.

Faden builders completed building a dock for me march 2015. They charged me $47,000 for it. I noticed in the last year some instability in the structure. as of 10/11/21 the dock is unsafe to walk as all the middle supporting wood is rotten. I contacted the company and owner Todd Faden who returned my call on 10/13/21, stating there is nothing he will do. He refused to even come look at it. On the phone conversation he added we are full of work for 1 year and we will not be able to do anything about it plus added he will not paying for anything. I was given no options for a resolution. based on the amount I spent and the expectancy of docks being 15 years on average. I feel company should be responsible for appropriate repair of the problem. Would not recommend. horrible experience. It was ok to take your money but not to repair. They should stand behind their work. Poor workmanship. Will file a complain with Fl license.
