    Install support beams in our basement, remove back side of our house and rebuild it, bump out the wa

    We hired Mike Otto/Fair & Square Remodeling do a bump out on a first bedroom, to replace the back of our house with a larger addition, to add a deck above that addition, and install some beams in our basement. For the most part the project was running fairly well, there were a number of delays along the way. We had some flooring that wasn't installed properly, as you walk on the floor you can see the seams under the flooring move at least 3/16".
    Mike said he would have it taken care of, he stalled and we received a letter that said he declared bankruptcy and would not fulfill anymore of his obligations any issues pertaining to our house issues. We never received the service that he promised us
    I have found out that he has also done this to many other customers, run away from any contact that you may have with Mike Otto. I'm sure he will somehow try to start up a new company and or buffalo another contractor to hire him, then the deception will continue.

    Mike was very open with our project and gave use some wonderful feedback what to do. He was open about our budget which we are going to increase to get the project down. He gave us a super idea about expanding our kitchen size. He is on our short list....
