Not well. The initial installation went OK. One of the installers dropped a piece from our attic and broke through the ceiling in the hallway - but he did come back and patch it up. The real problems happened when the pump that they installed failed(they installed an old pump). Once F&S's came out to see it, they did not notice that my tenant had bypassed the pump to get the unit working(nor did they realize the pump had failed), and that resulted in a puddle forming around the AC unit the next day. Then, we had some issues with water leaking from the AC vents they installed, as it was starting to drip down our walls. After realizing this issue, we tried calling Father Sons out, but they were never able to 'get a hold of us' to schedule a time to come out and fix it. After waiting for them to 'catch me' on the phone, we had a survey of the unit done, and have come to realize that there were far more issues than we realized;
- There is no mastic sealing the plenum
- The registers arent insulated properly
- The ducts arent sealed to the plenum
- There is a huge gap allowing how attic air into the air intake on the aid handler
- An old condensate pump was used instead of a new one with the install which is failing. No pressure is being produced.
It has been two weeks since I initially reached out to Father and Sons to remedy this...I still have not been able to get on the phone with someone who can give me a resolution. I would not recommend F&S
