I have had one bad experience after another with this builder. I did my final walk thru, everything looked fine. When I moved in, I noticed chips in the marble/granite countertop. When I asked Fedder Homes about this they said they were not responsible for it. It wasn't there when I did the walk thru. But it was when I moved in. A week after I moved in, the sump pump kept tripping the breaker. That had to be replaced. A year later, the same sump pump quit working and my basement flooded. The sump pump was replaced but none of the damage was. My house was still under warranty. I was also told that they were going to re-landscape my yard to prevent future flooding. That has yet to happen. There is also something wrong with the sump pump, it runs all the time. Even in the middle of winter or in the driest of summer. I keep getting told that it is not their problem. All these things have happened within the first year of my moving in when all of this was under warranty. They are rude, and use very cheap labor. It shows in the workmanship.

Most of my neighborhood was built by Fedder Homes and so many residents have tried to get into contact with this man to get things fixed that were done incorrectly. It's horrible moving into a new home that is pretty much trash. I highly advise not to buy a home built by this man.
