DO NOT HIRE. What a horrible experience. We’re building a huge addition and they pulled a permit and began [exterior] work without even calling us to connect or giving us a quote. When we pushed back on the overinflated bill, Jon dragged his feet over multiple weeks to finish outstanding items that he also started inside, including wiring new construction and restoring lighting he demoed out that left us without lights all through the existing part of the house. When we finally did see them back, he sent his son and another employee instead of showing up himself when we asked multiple times for a conversation with him about our outstanding balance and the remaining scope of work. At this point, due to aligning many contractors and schedules against inspection availability, insulation has been installed and we still have outstanding electrical that will now require digging into already sealed insulate. The icing on the cake is Jon showing up two days before Christmas to scope and price the remaining work we NEED to pass final inspection for sheetrock and he continued to refuse making any adjustments to the price. He walked out in the middle of the conversation and SLAMMED OUR FRONT DOOR IN OUR FACE in front of our 8 year old daughter. It’s winter in New England and our gas bill has more than doubled because we’re dumping heat into an open ceiling waiting for this unprofessional dirtbag. He made sure he was real sweet and communicative when he wanted to collect payment though. Worst part of it is this is a father and son, what a shit example of how to run a business.

Fielding Electric has done a ton of work at my home from installation of interior/exterior lights, generator, and many repairs of faulty wiring in my old home! They were neat, clean, courteous and highly skilled electricians! They are very professional and reasonably priced! They even wired an installed lighting in my barn for our daughter’s farm wedding! Amazing workmanship and we will hire them again!
