If I could give a 0, that would better describe the quality of work that they do. Placing chipped tiles (filled with caulking) into a $425,000 home and having zig-zag cuts on the ends of tiles isn't beautiful. Also, the grout in every room had to be replaced because it would disintegrate when wet. You've been warned!

Bedroom floor: As agreed upon on the first day of work, there was supposed to be a grout line of 1/16 inch (recommended by contractor). The tile was laid without any grout lines leaving it susceptible to cracking, becoming loose and chipping with temperature fluctuations, tiles are uneven and not square at some of the meeting points. Bathroom subway tiles: When installing the subway tile in the shower, several of the tiles were chipped and/or uneven as a direct result of the cutting method. When doing the walls tile, the recess for the toilet paper holder was tiled over. It was the understanding that the hole would be cut after the mastic dried. It was grouted over without cutting the recess. Shower niche: When installing the shower niche it was placed incorrectly and is crooked (by about 1/2 inch) causing the grout lines and tile placement to be uneven and thicker in some areas. Penny tile feature wall: When installing the penny tile around the pancake boxes for the light fixtures and faucets it was not installed close enough leaving gaps between the tile and fixtures even after installing additional trim pieces purchased separately. Shower drain pan: When the shower drain pan was poured it was created uneven resulting in puddling of water and the drain itself is higher than the tile in some areas. When installing the penny tile on the shower floor there was tile specifically designed in a random color pattern. Two squares of the patterned penny tile were set with plain white penny tile leaving a noticeable difference in the pattern. It was also not spaced correctly. When running the water in the shower we noticed it was not draining, after investigating the issue we found there to be cement, mastic and tile spacers clogging the drain. Exterior walkway of my home: Tile installers dumped garbage, bits of tile, tile spacers, dirty grout/cement water onto the walkway and front porch.
They were given a second chance to complete the work and failed to do it in a timely and/or professional manner.
I asked that they not come back to the property without myself being home because there has been property missing that they have admitted to taking saying that it was "normal" in construction for there to be confusion as to what belongs to them. They knowingly came back to the house when my 16 year old was here alone and was unaware of the issue and request. That was unethical and very possibly illegal. They should not be trusted.
