By J.r.September 12, 2015bathtub remodel21 daysConsumer Beware
Turned a 3 day bathroom tub remodeling job into a 3 week job, and took several days to return phone calls and emails. Gave us an estimate for a two-color paint job and said it would be $120 less if we went with one color, so we went with one color but he still charged us for two colors. By then, the checks had been written because he said he needed the money to purchase the supplies. When we asked him why he charged us for two colors when he only used one, he said it was a mistake on his part when he did the estimate. He said the amount he wrote on the estimate was for one color, not two, although the estimate clearly shows the price for two different types of paint (it took him 3 days to respond to that email, which was sent on a Friday and responded to on a Monday--I guess he needed time to think up his BS excuse). On top of that, he did a lousy job on the painting. We can see the white base coat under the color he applied. Would NOT hire this guy again for anything.

Owner of Fine line design and tile Ruben B. Gonzalez is a rip off. Did not finish job and took cabinets, dish washer and other items from home. Did not file proper permits and refused to give us receipts to purchases of items but wanted more money. Complete thief and instead of paying him more money have hired an attorney due to the unsafe living environment he left my home.
