  Install heating and ac

  $2,900

  I live in Franklin Lakes. Ata Jafarzadeh brought Chris from Finesse Airflow Hvac to my house and introduced me to him and recommended him after deciding not to install the heating and AC himself as originally promised. I signed a contract and gave a $2900 deposit to Chris on July 15 2021. Chris said he would contact me. After not contacting me for over a month and not returning my email, I got ahold of him through a colleague of his. He said he had Covid, but was getting better, and he would call me when he was better. He never called. I called him and we set a date for October 12 2021. He said he would finish the job in a day. He never came. I contacted him four times that day, and he never responded. I’ve texted him twice more in the past two days. I offered to let him out of the contract if he would return my 2900$ deposit. According to my bank, he cashed the check back in July. It’s November now. I’m looking into legal options and talking to a lawyer. My advice would be to Avoid this company and this man, as well as anyone who recommends him. He has not held to his promise ethically or legally, and won’t return my communications to tell me why.

  Terrible experience. Long story short, "Chris" charged top dollar for non brand equipment and subpar service on a new air handler/condenser that stopped working in 3-days. Worst of all, he strung me along in the heat of August promising to return to repair the units but never showed. He didn't properly weld pipes & fastened ducts to the air handler with tape. Licensed HVAC company advised that my system WILL break down again & the freon will leak in about 1 year. He didn't change out exposed wires on condensing unit. Incredibly poor workmanship and untrustworthy. He shouldn't be permitted to do this type of work.

  HVAC install

  Contractor is a liar and a cheat. He did unauthorized HVAC install in my house - the permits were never approved - he told me they were and did the work. Now it may all have to be ripped out and we paid him almost $20K. He demanded payment and then we were left with waiting 2.5 months for him to finish the work and resolved things. Now he is MIA and his website has been taken down. He will probably start a new company under a new name and screw more people. He doesn't have an HVAC license either. He only has a home improvement license.
