I hired David Henry to install approximately 910 sf of ceramic tile in my home. He and his worker spend three days installing the tile, but failed to finish the job. The work that was performed was sloppy and not up to professional standards. Many of the tiles were misaligned, chipped, or not level. The grout lines should have been evenly spaced throughout the job, but they were not.
The edges that abutted my hardwood floors is extremely jagged and crooked. The grout work was horrible and was very sloppy with many high spots and most areas severely depressed. The entire floor needs to be regrouted by someone that knows what they are doing. Additionally, where I requested only one color of grout, I somehow ended up with two different colors in the kitchen. This is unacceptable. After months and months of weekly calls to David to remedy the situation, it is clear that he has no intention of correcting his failures or finishing the job properly. At first he made excuses why he couldn't come out and finish the job. Then he stopped answering my calls or responding to my texts at all. He is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this person (can't say contractor since he's not licensed) for any type flooring work at all. For that matter, I would not even recommend him for any type of handyman work. He is severely lacking in professional ethics and workmanship. DO NOT HIRE DAVID HENRY. He's a total scam artist.
