Run DO NOT WALK run away from this company. Took my $8000 over a year and a half ago. NOTHING BUT EXCUSES. Everyone who this has also happened to we need to do a class action lawsuit against this company. Count me in.

Going on 2 years and no home. They continually ask for more money but don't procide any invoices. All a scam. Dozens of people are submitting official complaints. Not a trustoworthy company. They deserve to lose their license and be sent to jail. RUN, RUN, RUN!!!!

AWFUL!!! This builder signs on a never ending amount of contracts and then takes them YEARS to even get started with building!!! Then they say “oh well the price went up $40,000 so pay it or you loose your contract.” This is intensionally scamming people so they loose all the money they already put into the project or have to pay tens of thousands more! Lawsuits already going on against the company. They are 100% scammers!!! Don’t trust them and stay as far away as possible if you want to keep your money and sanity!

First Choice Home Builders is not a company to be trusted! From the moment we began working with them, First Choice demonstrated supremely poor customer service, showed a lack of integrity . I sign the contract in July 2021 and agreed that in 6 months they will have a permit and ready to build.it’s been 17 months now and they don’t even have the drawings to apply for a permit. Also my agent who I was working with is not answering the call or message I discovered he is no longer working there. I can’t even find out what’s going on yet. All I was asking for is an update. First choice breaches every single dates we agreed on & breach of contract agreement is a violation of any of the agreement terms conditions of a binding contract and First choice fails to deliver my house . I don’t know if they are still even in business. I don't trust them anymore and I want to terminate my contract agreement and get my $8000 down payment back from or I will let my Florida attorney file a complaint at Departments Of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) .

How can you take $52,000 of someone’s money and promise them a home? Then come back a few months later demanding 50k more because your company took on too much work and now prices are high. You want to give options on not getting a pool, giving 50k more or walking away and losing 20k. Why does your company deserve 20k? Time? What about our time, and patience? You get compensated for time but we don’t? Please do not contract with this company. Save the heart ache My father is experiencing. My father has worked hard his whole life, including spending 20 years serving this country has saved his whole life for this moment HIS DREAM! And this company just wants to shoot the dream down with THEIR DRAMA!!!!!! Ridiculous I know you may have something to say first choice but facts are facts ??‍♀️. And yes this is Mr. B Thomas in NEW YORK daughter if there’s ANY CONFUSION.

We have had nothing but problems with First choice home builders. Their name should be changed to WORSE CHOICE HOME BUILDERS!!!! We signed a contract with them in January of 2021 and were told our home would be done in a year. We have been given every excuse in the book why it is still not done eleven months late. They were nice helpful people to work with until they got our deposit and our contract signed and then the real company made its appearance. We have been lied to,ignored,skipped over and in my opinion ripped off. Eleven months after the promised time of completion we sit with a overgrown lot, an approximately 40% completed home(according to the bank experts) a poorly constructed roof that leaks and nothing but headaches. And now Jeff Burch the owner has declared our contract null and void due to the time element. Really ? We have no contract because they dragged their feet nice way to do business!!! They have just today sent us a bill for 26K for a partial price increase. So it is no wonder to me why they are ranked in the bottom third of all builders in Florida. They are lying scheming unscrupulous bottom dwellers. THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING THEM

Just as the others they wait and wait to displace you, your plans, your mortgage agreements, no communication other than bogus completion dates and threaten you with charges if u speak up. Nightmare is right

First choice homes are beautifully constructed and has such a great layout. The staff at the model homes are attentive and friendly until you put your deposit down. Our experience with First choice was a nightmare. We signed our contract in April 2021. In September/October 2021 the plans came back from drafting and said the home is too big for our standard lot. If you decide to build with them please ask what lot size you need to have for them to build the house you’re interested in. In February 2022 no visible progress has yet to be made but we are able to lock in our interest rate on our construction loan. We didn’t enter permitting until June 2022. At the end of July 2022 still nothing and not even an estimated start and completion date, keep in mind we signed our contract in April 2021. With our interest rate about to expire in 4 months and having to pay a $1,800 rate lock extension fee we decided it best we cut our loss. Why sign into a mortgage on a house that hasn’t even begun construction? Do you research on this company before you give them your deposit. Not sure who replies to the google reviews at First choice but there is no need to contact me since you don’t know who I am. But when a Facebook post was written that you didn’t like you sure did know who to get in contact with.
