    The first thing that impressed me about First Step Builders, Inc. was when Yogi showed up to provide us with an estimate to remodel our Primary Bathroom he was wearing booties so that he would not get my carpet dirty. After having 4 other companies provide us with estimates, we decided to go with First Step Builders, Inc. I must say they did not disappoint. We loved so much how our Primary bathroom turned out that we decided to have them remodel our other two bathrooms. Yogi and Eli were always available if we had any questions. They also have great people working for them -- Arturo, Miguel, Ernesto, and Evan are just a few of the workers who worked on our bathrooms.

    Love the way the renovation came out. Went from a closed home to an open concept and our space looks 100 times better. If we ever had a problem Yogi and Eli were quick to try and get someone out to fix the problem as soon as possible. Definitely looking to have them do more work on our house in the future.

    We are in the process of fixing complaints with the Contractors License Board, their bonding company, and all authorities.

    100% of everything we have researched has been fraudulent about First Step Builders from their claim to have trained employees (they use day laborers) to their references (fraudulent) even to the purported pictures of their work.

    All of their work was substandard and must be redone by experts. Stay far away - they are horrible.

    Highly recommend this hard working honest company . yogi and david works very hard to complete each project timely and he makes certain that clean up is thoroughly done at the conclusion.     I really needed my shingle roof replaced, however it took me a little over 6 months to finally choose a contractor. The reason is that I couldn't find what I was looking for!     at first i was hopeless for getting my Patio Cover dream come true.
    20 different estimates for the Aluminum patio cover and all came with the same "materials shortages" issue.
    Yogi came with the idea of a wooden patio cover and made it so beautiful, it cost a bit more but it was worth it.

    the work was done perfectly! They took care of permits and all that was needed to do it on the right side

    We were originally impressed during the bidding process.
    Once we agreed on a price and signed a contract, I thought we were all set.
    Two months later, David calls and tells us they cannot do the job for what they quoted. He said it would @ $5,000.00 dollars more.
    These are not reputable people. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM.
