    Family room remodel

    Ian Fisher and his crew are really top notch when it comes to home improvement! We have had them do several projects at our home, each one spectacular. The work is always done with care and to our satisfaction, never rushed or sloppy. I could go on for days about the work they do... but the best part of having Fisher Building Company come to our home is Ian and his men, they are professional, friendly, always quick to respond via email or phone and always pleasant. Ian is very clear up front with what needs to be done, and very, very patient with us. He is truly the reason we keep calling again and again for all our home improvement needs!

    My husband and I used Fisher Building Co to help us do an attic room renovation after interviewing multiple companies. Ian was honest and fair in his pricing; he was respectful and considerate our work schedules (keeping in mind our small children and not being able to do work on some of the days when we all had to be home for various reasons) and he left each time with keeping the area clean and safe for our family. Above all else, Ian and his team were responsive to all of our requests and talked us through the whole process so that we understood next steps. We have never worked with a more dedicated and honest contractor. Thank you Ian and Fisher Building Co for helping us with our home project. We will be calling back when we need more work!

    Siding, basement remodel

    Nothing but positive things to say about Fisher building Co. I had used Ian in the past and posted my review on other sites. When Ian contacted me months after to see if I was still happy with the work he had done he also asked me if I wouldn't mind posting reviews here. Well, I was glad to tell him yes.

    I had siding that was destroyed from a large branch falling. Which he later recommended me to get trees that are close to my house pruned professionally. Which when I spoke to a pro I was told I wound up being lucky (long story, no longer related). Anyways, after Ian matched my vinyl siding I booked him to refinish my basement for my 2 little ones.

    Not quite sure what we wanted, I put together what Ian suggested and tweeked it a little for my own taste. Final result again was incredible. Paint, carpet, added bench seating, all came out how I invisioned durring our planning.

    I would definitely recommend Fisher building co. And am already planning my main bathroom after seeing photos he has posted on facebook. Which he will definitely be doing!

    We contacted Ian based on a couple of recommendations as we were looking for a company to install new doors. In the beginning, Ian was responsive, however as time went on, I had to constantly track him down for answers, then, when the doors finally came in, they were not correct, so yet another delay. When work finally was able to begin the work space was constantly dirty, not even a quick wipe down each night - my husband works in the HVAC industry and was appalled at the condition our home was left in every night.
    I also have multiple emails where I'm following up and about the delays to the doors.
    We had to have Ian come out multiple times to fix his work, including adding in more foam as you could see daylight through multiple cracks. Yes, foam expands and you need to leave room, but it also doesn't take it long to dry. We were surprised to say the least that he didn't catch this. Our front door was very misaligned and in the end, my husband fixed it as we couldn't deal with another return. Ian left all the stickers on the door and at the end of the job, he didn't even leave the area in "broom clean condition" as specified in the contract.
    There were scuff marks all over the brand new doors and overall just no pride in what he was doing. I don't know if he felt this job was too small in the end or if he had too many on his plate, but whatever the case was, it was a horrible experience and job from start to finish.
    I would never have his company return for another job and I would not recommend them either. In the end I felt cheated and misguided through the entire process.

    Take down old deck completely and put up a new one

    I was very happy with the deck that Ian and his crew replaced. He was considerate of what we could spend. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his work ethic. We would definitely recommend him and would not hesitate to use him again.

    I highly recommend Fisher Building Company. Thank you Ian! I could not be happier with the results of the full gut renovation of my one bedroom condo including kitchen and bath. As a first time home owner, I was on a budget and had little experience in the renovation process. After interviewing five contractors, I went with Fisher Building Company. Ian was patient, attentive and honest. He helped me stick to my budget while still meeting all of my needs. The attention to detail and efficiency of the team were impressive. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends!!
