I had entered into a contract along with a down payment with Patrick Fitzgerald in Aug. 2020 to replace rotten wood on a shaker porch before the painters could paint the support. The work was to be performed early-mid October. In late Sept. I unexpectedly received my down payment back and a note stating "His plans have changed and can no longer do the work...". As it was so late in the season, I was unable to hire anyone else. He did not give an explanation.
