Process was fantastic. Due to COVID things have slowed down the process but it’s understandable due to the high demand on products. It’s taken a little more than I expected but they are very hard working John and Lazaro have made it from the very beginning a great process and if they can’t find a product they find something similar which it’s great due to me not wanting to wait. They are great I wouldn’t have picked a better pool contractor.

First off want to say I feel so blessed to have found Five Aces pool and spa. I had gotten quotes from 6 different company’s for my pool project, the last quote was from John with five aces pools and spa. When John came to my home too look at my project I felt his honesty right away, I spent a good bit of time with him too hear what would be the best direction to go with my pool project, John told me that the old coating would have to come off first as it had been painted with a fiberglass paint coating that had to be removed from the surface before a new coating could be applied to the surface while John was telling me this I’m thinking about one pool company told me it had to be burned off and another pool company told me they just put new stucco coating over the paint it was getting scary because I read a lot about the old coating and knew it had to come off and also knew you don’t burn fiberglass coating off of a pool.John told me before he left he would get me a quote within a couple days and he did his quote was very competitive with other quotes but his honesty is what sold me,I also had the pleasure of working with Johns father Lazaro they are the most courteous kind human beings I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They didn’t just make my pool look beautiful again they took the time too explain how to care for my pool,

Lazaro, Thank you very much for doing a terrific job on the remodeling of our swimming pool. The final result is beyond my imagination and expectations I am very glad that I chose to remodel with your company. This pool will give our family years of enjoyment. Best regards, Curt Prystupa

I would not recommend this company! A 6 week project took 8 months. 1. They showed up early and unannounced with the wrong color fiberglass pool. Jon told us "they discontinued the color you wanted". Really? Why didn't they call and ask what other color we would prefer? Why show up secretly and put in the pool? Now looking back we believe we where given a recycled pool. I found out Jon lied to my face and that the color we wanted was never discontinued. 2. The initial dirty water fill was left for months. We called and called and called to get them to come finish the pool, they came a few times and poured bleach in the pool to kill the thousands and thousands of frogs and tadpoles that developed. The water was nasty green for months, it looked radioactive. 3. After cleaning out the radioactive water, and doing the refill of clean water there were yellowish brown stains all over the bottom of the pool. Jon could not get them out no matter what he did. No one else would come service the pool because A. they said Jon had to finish the pool because the contract stated the pool is to be serviced for 1 month AFTER they finish it. B. No one else wanted to be liable for the stains. 4. 8 months later when the pool was finished, Jon finally hired a company to get the yellow/brown stains out which was basically just balancing the pool, but the stains were still there just white. The surface is permanently damaged. Because he already received all our money he refused to return and fix the issue.
We had many specialist look at the pool and tell us the pool was damaged, most likely prior to us receiving it and the lack of maintenance on the builders part made it worse. The pool appears to have been sanded. The stains are unrepairable. Even an new gelcoat would not completely fix the issue.
We had to hire an attorney. This has caused our family so much stress. We are good and honestly people, so to be swindled like this really hurts.
