Andy did a beautiful job on a rebuild of our large deck. We converted from wood to Trex deck. It was a complete tear out, re-design and build. He helped us with the design and the end results was exactly what we wanted. He even recommended a newer, less expensive cable rail that really makes the deck. He did a quality job and finished on-time and on-budget.

Andy's quality of work is horrible. He has no finishing skills whatsoever. We have someone else coming to correct all of the mistakes he made (and there were many). After reading Tim's review (January 5, 2017), I am guessing he was working on our kitchen remodel at the same time he was working on Tim's bathroom. That would explain the 3 hour work days and not showing up on other days. His pricing got out of hand, as well and he does not have a good bookkeeping system either. His schedule showed him working some days he was not at our house and other days he showed not working, but was at our house. He also tried charging us for items we did not get. Perhaps the small chandelier on one of the receipts was for Tim's bathroom project; it sure wasn't for our house. Andy had done work previously for two of my wife's co-workers and was recommended to us. In the end, we decided to not have him finish the work and the relationship soured quickly. The last phone conversation ended with him cursing at me and hanging up on me after I asked why he destroyed my house key rather than return it to me. What contractor does not return the house key?

At first it was very good, we had Andrew out to give us a bid for tiling a room we used for our laundry and over flow room and to tile the bathroom shower walls in our new remodel. We got a bid and was shown a 20 some page contract with a lump sum bid on it and then $65hr line directly below that that was interpreted by my wife and myself that this was for any extra's which we had mentioned to him when we asked for the bid.
After he is almost finished and we had given him 2600 on a 2400 bid he wanted another 1926 dollars for the whole job. He goes on to tell us that the 2400 wasn't the final price its more like an estimate its all based on his $65hr charge. So be very careful out there it seems if you ask for a bid from this contractor its not the final price based on his contract that some how changed when we got our copy.

Absolutely beautiful work, very fair rates, make great suggestions about different ideas or ways to save money with slight adjustments, trustworthy, do what they say they will, and they leave the job site immaculate. Plus they are just great guys. I can't say enough about them and they currently are working on their third project for me. I'm so glad I found them.
