I needed the bathroom remodeled in my insurance office and was concerned about the noise and traffic bothering my clients. Joey came and did all the work himself to ensure that wouldn't happen. His price was just a little bit less than the other quotes that I got but it's not just about price. The fact that he listened to the things I was worried about and made a plan to ensure my business was not disrupted was where the true value was. Looks great and no messes

My first comment is that Joe and his two guys did a fantastic job on our bathroom project. This was basically a "gut job" on the entire bathroom. Joe has a small crew and told me in advance that he had several projects going and I needed to be patient during the job. I signed on as his quote was very competitive and he seemed like a great guy. He actually finished the job about a week before his promised deadline. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the finished result! The workmanship is precise, the finish is immaculate, and the room looks amazing.
Joe and his guys were very professional, easy to get along with, and very clean and sensitive to keeping the work site tidy.
It was a pleasure to work with FJA Construction and can't wait to do my next project with them. I would not hesitate to recommend them for their project. -

I hired Joe to convert my garage into a large bedroom for my older daughter and my newborn granddaughter. He started out great with demolishing old cabinets and creating more space, framing, electrical and drywall, etc. However, the quality of workmanship declined with the drywall and the sprayed texture on the walls; they looked as if no sanding was done at all and there was a lot of inconsistencies, bare areas, hard lines showing, etc. I just expected higher quality work since he held a contractor’s license and had stated he’d been doing this kind or work for 20 years. Unfortunately, there was some tension created when I voiced my concerns; he was defensive and often seemed stressed and irritated when I asked questions. Communication was poor and it got to a point for me to let him go. I ended up having to hire another contractor to fix and repaint my walls and complete the finishing details. In the future I will be sure to get references before hiring anyone to work on my home.
