We hired Roy to install carpet throughout our home. The carpet was installed in May 20, 2014, incorrectly with a seam going along the floor directly in front of our fireplace readily visible to anyone who comes in. Also, the seam was raised along the seam (which didn't match up) and sloppily patched together with a big lump where the carpet nails were. Roy stated that it was something to do with the Miller, and not being able to match the pattern, who would have to come out and inspect the work and that would be in about 6 months. I told him that was not acceptable. As it turned out, after several calls to him, and voice/text messages from me which he did not respond to, my husband called him and he agreed to come and fix the problem. That was 5 months later, on October 23, 2014. I was not present when he came. The 'fix' was worse that the original problem. The carpet does not match, it is clearly lighter than the rest of the carpet along the whole length of the room. The carpet is not installed properly along the fireplace hearth. It is crooked and ragged.. Also, loose strands of the carpet are coming out along the baseboards in several other places in the house. My attempts to contact him have gone unanswered. I would not hire or recommend Roy Fletcher to anyone.
