    Condo remodel

    Jim Moyer gave us an estimate before we put an offer on our condo. We committed to working with him and for over 5 weeks we used his flooring people, cabinet people to finalize the remodel work. He told me he was going to go for permits. That night I received an email from him saying he decided not to do the work. No explanation. When I called him to find out why he hung up on me. No explanation. We wasted valuable time and are now trying to find new contractor.

    Very unprofessional. I would not trust him.

    Total house remodel
    150 days

    Jim Moyer did a total "gut" and remodel of our three bedroom three bath waterfront home including removing and adding walls, three total bathrooms, floors, kitchen and windows. Jim has a good sense of vision for this work and that was very helpful during the entire process. His workmen delivered top notch work. We had a "new" home. Jim is totally trustworthy which was very high on our priority list. Florida Built Right has done work for our friends and customers including new home building and they have all been extremely satisfied and complementary.

    Florida Built Right - Jim Moyer

    Florida Built Right is building our modern home in Key Marco. Jim Moyer is not only a very competent and skilled contractor/builder, he also has a very creative eye through which he adds great value to how the structure looks and feels down to the the choices of flooring, appliances, colors, hardware, paint etc. We started with a detailed plan done by a California based architect and Jim has added substantial value in the look and feel of the place. Besides his creative value add to the project, Jim is an honest and responsible person who takes his work and his word very seriously. This is a critical and necessary element of his character and way of doing business that has been very satisfying and comforting to us. Jim named his company Florida Built Right because there is a RIGHT way to build in Florida (he knows the Florida building culture/vendors etc.) AND there is a right way to build. Jim does them both. You could not put your building project into better hands.
