    New pool enclosure

    The project to have a new pool enclosure was perfect from start to finish. Very professional and beautiful result. I highly recommend this company . One of the best contractors I have used since living in the area for 30 years

    Overall Florida Pool Enclosure did a very good job. We had them tear down our old enclosure and add the foam "roman Columns". They were WAY less expensive then T & D concrete columns and we had it semi-custom made so it looked almost exactly like the TD type job. The crew was quick, efficient and pretty much on schedule. Like everything make sure to go over their contract with a fine tooth comb! We had a few minor issues and their response was "it says that in the contract (fine print) that we did not notice but we resolved.

    My only issue with them and it was a major one is that we had them rip up our existing pool deck and install a high grade travertine (which their price was equivalent to T & D). When they installed this everything looked great but after we went away for a month and came back the whole floor was crumbling apart. The contractor at the time who was the Florida pool owners brother basically told us that the warranty was done and that if we had an issue WE had to contact the travertine manufacturer. Well, needless to say that pissed me off! I called the supplier and asked why my high grade stone was falling apart and found out that the brother, while I had paid for the high grade, went out and bought scrap stone and installed it. Now the good news, when I first called Florida pool after getting no results from the "contractor" they told me that since I had signed separate contracts and they were only liable for the screen which caused me to blow a gasket. I then got ahold of the owner Mike Sr. and he came out along with a new floor contractor and the end result was that they ripped out the brothers crap job and replaced everything and now it looks great!

    Bottom line, if you are using them for the cage and columns it is well worth it, if you are using them for flooring make sure that Tony is doing the floor. If Alex (the brother) is back working again DO NOT USE HIM. They told me back in 2015 that they were done working with Alex but you never know. I would recommend them. They did back up their work and would without a doubt recommend them for screen enclosures
