I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this is one time I regret it. It is called "deep drilling" folks. And even though the liar in chief of Fogles vehemently denies it, that is exactly what they do. Before drilling, I even asked the drilling manager " Now you guys won't go past the water will you ?" "Oh no, of course not, we never do that." At 48 feet we starting getting moist sand, then water starting shooting out of the top of the drill rig. It seemed he couldn't drill fast enough to get through that water. Then when safely in clay, he stopped the rig and came over to ask, " Well just how far can you go? 300 feet? Would you accept a gallon or two a minute?" Thankfully, we had time to realize we were being "fogleized" and we ended the job. It would have been another dry $30,000 hole, like so many around this area. Instead we only got bilked for $6K, but that is a lot of money to us. I should have trusted my gut and looked for another driller as people told me of their experiences being drilled by Fogles and that they know employees get "bonuses" for making the company money, wink wink, how do you supposed drillers make the company money? So we hired an honest driller out of Elk, he stopped the drill when the dirt was moist and soon we had a nice flow of about 12-14 gpm. That's right, he stopped drilling and let the well develop. That's what HONEST drillers do. That is the kind of legacy you hand down to your kids, not deep drilling and then lying about it. The word says of followers of Jesus, they shall know you by your fruits. Well we found Fogle's fruit to be bitter, deceiving and crooked. What a shame.

    Drill a Well
    $26,000

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Fogle. Our quote ended up tripling in price to around $26,000. No matter how many questions we asked our driller to be well informed about drilling a well on our property we were given mis-information and felt taken advantage of. We wanted to trust our drillers expertise but we got burned by a dishonest driller who didn't disclose all the costs involved in the well process and charged us for services he never mentioned to us and we never agreed to, plus picked to drill a well in a spot that was more about convenience for his rigs right off the street instead of a location close to our build site or where water would more likely be. The worst part is we were not on site for the drill process so we just had to believe what our driller told us in terms of when water hit. We told our driller to stop at 300ft to check with us before drilling further and he ignored our request and had his guys drill beyond even though we had already hit water. I suspect they drilled further than necessary to score more $ in their pockets. They also picked a well site so far from our build site that we are having to spend double the money just to get water and electrical lines to the well and our house. When we told our neighbor up the street that we used Fogle to drill our well, he said "I hate those guys, they charge way more than they should and take advantage of people". We learned a hard lesson and I have to share in hopes that folks reading this will be better informed to avoid the mistakes we made in choosing Fogle. Talk to your neighbors and locals about their well drilling experiences and who they used and be on site during your well drill to avoid being lied to and taken advantage of!
