Build a home

$463,000

The costs for our home build were 40% over contracted budget and still did not get a finished home. Had to paint the two biggest rooms in the house, do our own tiling, and constantly watch budget. Labor was not supervised very well and was a huge factor in cost overruns. Paid a $45 hour wage for site supervisor who ended up doing menial tasks i.e. cleaning windows, sweep and mopping floors, hanging out at jobsite waiting on rides to/from as he had no driver's license. Totally unprofessional business. Buyer beware!
