    Hvac

    This company definitely deserves a higher rating then what they have been given on here. It's too bad customers that are happy with them don't take the time to leave a good review. Fast AC took care of our AC unit within 2 hours of it going down without telling me I needed a new unit however that's what I planned on needing to do. They fixed it and it's still working to this day. I will recommend them to everyone I know and meet.

    $8,500

    I had a new system installed in March 2018. They called me (after hours) to schedule a "routine" check up. I took the afternoon off from work, and they never showed up! No phone call, nothing!
    3 weeks later they call me again (after hours) to schedule the same "routine" service. I told her about the missed appointment, she assured me they would show up this time, they did. They were more worried about rescheduling, as rain was coming. After I provided a ladder they came back within 3 minutes (I don't know how it's possible to crawl up in the attic, attach the gauges, read the pressures, check fans, inspect the copper piping, disconnect the gauges, crawl back from the attic and already be writing a quote) to say everything was fine, but my 9 year old copper was obsolete. They said the new copper has ridges and the Freon flows faster which is crucial in high efficiency units. They quoted me $2,400 for a new line set. Obviously, I asked around, and not one company was aware of any new copper on the market. I should also mention, I am a plumber and copper has not changed.

    2 weeks later, they call me again (after hours) to schedule the same routine maintenance!!!! I laughed at her. I will never use this company again, and I definitely would not recommend them.

    AC preventative maintenance contract

    They were focused only on sales and not on providing good service. I was under a maintenance contract with them, and discovered they had not been doing much “preventive maintenance.”
    During their last recent contract visit the rep. suggested some work needed to be done but said the system would be fine for a year or so. About 4 days after their last maintenance visit, my A/C stopped working. A Fastac “manager” came out and said I needed a new system and that they could install it that day. Since the options were between $6000 - $8000 I decided to get a second opinion from another company that a close friend trusts.
    After about 20 minutes and a $100 service call my A/C was working again. The second company told me that although my system is older, it was repairable.
    I then called Fastac to express my shock in discovering that fixing it was even an option, that my system had frozen due to a drain pan being full (Fastac was at my home the week before), and that my coils had seemingly not been cleaned or other things checked/maintained as agreed in the maintenance contract. Although I asked to speak to the owner, Matt Foster, he did not take my call, but instead sent me a letter stating “Due of the use another Co. for your a/c needs during our preventative maintenance agreement period, we are cancelling the agreement. Please call the other co. that you used for your needs in the future”.
    As mentioned in the other review, I am a 66 year old single female dealing with this disreputable company. Rather than an apology, or an offer to pay the $100 fee I paid to fix what should have been covered by Fastac (what they did not fix under our agreement) they cancelled my paid - signed agreement by letter??
    I would never have used them again anyway, but I am appalled at their lack of sound business practices. I ran a small business for over 30 years in SW Fl and know there are good, reputable businesses in our community. However, Fastac is not one of them, and I don’t want anyone else to have this experience with Fastac.

    Never hired them!!! They just showed up

    SCAMMERS!! They prey on the elderly. They came in to my grandmother’s house even though they’ve been told before to stay away from her house because they’ve come by before and she already has a contract with Tri County in Venice. They target the Venice area knocking on people’s doors claiming they need to do “work.” They have been told to stay away because they’ve charged her before for unnecessary work yet they still came back, went in her house, tried to do work and tried to take advantage of her again but Price was caught again! Do not use this “AC” company because they are fraud and feel the need to target the elderly whom are incapable of making a decision.

I spoke with you or a representative of yours on the phone for a while today and mentioned that we got your information from a company that we acquired, and as such today is the very first time that we had ever been out to your location as a company. Now that we know you have another company, we assure you that we have removed you completely from our systems, but we want to be very clear that this is the very first time that we have ever reached out to you, and we have never charged you for any work that needed to be done. It is our strict policy not to knock on anyone's doors without a prior appointment set up, which our employee Crystal did do last week via phone, on 11/3. We wish you the best of luck and, with this information, ask that you please reconsider this review. Thank you.
