Fountain Electric is given 1-Star only because Yelp does not allow for a Zero (0-Star) Review.
They, currently, are one of Duke Power’s Contractors performing field tech services under Duke’s “Home Wiring Repair” Program.
Unfortunately, within my region (Greenville, SC), Fountain Electric is the sole Contractor for this Program! Suffice to say, their values relative to Customer Service are positively abysmal! Right now, if you are a Subscriber to the Duke Program, you have no choice but to call them. Right now, that is!
Conversely, if you elect to use them on your own, do so at your own peril.
I went up their chain of command from their CSR (Alyssa), to her “Manager” (Catherine), to their “GM” (Stephen) with my utter disquiet. Each discussion was met with condescension and without (what should have been an easy) resolution. And… the call was concluded with Stephen adding “have a blessed day!” I think we all know what that translates to here in the South!
Duke Power has been notified and has promised to follow-up with me today. Suffice it to say, Duke is a World Class Company; however when its Customers are met with downright sketch, deceit, and condescending attitudes from its Contractors, it reflects poorly on Duke and will always prompt them to seriously reevaluate those poisonous contractual relationships with their subpar service providers like Fountain!!
