Jeff WAS great to work with at the beginning. He came out quick & gave us a quote on enlarging our deck. The work got done started sooner than expected, & the build was done quickly. From the beginning he was upfront that he would have to come back a few weeks later to stain it. Not a big deal. It’s May, with the rain it took a bit cause the wood had to dry out after every rain. Well, July is here after I had to contact him several times to see when he would return to stain. He finally comes around to having one of his guys “stain” it. Well, they did the most horrible job. Not only did it look like he took the can of stain & just threw it across the deck, but he didn’t even stain/sand the whole thing. And to boot...they used interior stain on a deck!!! Jeff said he’d come fix it & NEVER did. We are now in September. I sent him a message saying I wanted to work completed NOW. He had been paid & this was unacceptable. He proceeded to send me an extremely long text telling me how busy he was, how he under charged me for a deck, how his 200 unanswered texts are overwhelming, I don’t understand how me paying him what I was quoted by him, wanting my job completed, hiring crap workers, & him over booking himself is my problem? I don’t know where he gets off thinking speaking to a paying customer like that is ok?
The city of Papillion wasn’t super easy to work with either & he had to fix 8 issues that they didn’t find up to code, but again not my fault. That’s the cities & his prob. Now I have to find someone to redo the stain this Spring because it was so bad they couldn’t do it last fall. Mother Nature had to do some damage to the crap job that was done.
