  Resurface fiberglass pool

  $3,700

  This guy is a complete con scam. He should be in jail. I had him gel coat our fiberglass pool. All he did was 2 coats of paint on it which began to flake off within 30 days. I’ve been trying to call him since he finished the job for a letter to give to the water department so I didn’t have to pay sewer charges on my water bill for filling the pool. Of course he had already been paid and never returned one call. In addition the pool surface is already chalking and he will not return a call or text over the last 30 days. Don't walk, run from this guy. I highly suggest that you DO NOT USE him. He’s a good con man. Michelle C.

  This guy is a complete con artist. He should be in jail. I had him gel coat our fiberglass pool. All he did was slap a coat of paint on it which began to flake off within days. Of course he had already been paid and never returned one call. Don't walk, run from this guy. You've been warned.

  This guy should be in the federal pen, takes your money never returns calls, didn't finish the job, now I find out he didn't pull a permit!! wouldn't honor his warranty, know I find out his license is revoked

  pool resurface, decorative tile

  .The worse decision you could make is hiring this guy ! He not only screwed me but he got my neighbor also.......we hired him to resurface our pools plus install decorative tile. He said all work would be guaranteed for 15 years.His handy work lasted a, 4 months, pool surface started to peel. oozing a white substance and all the discoloration returned.........and the decorative tile ? Are resting on the bottom of the pool ! Once your money is in his hand forget about him answering your calls, text or e-mails

  Dear Kevin Fox,
  On 09/12/14, you did the following work: You agreed to re-surface the 12x28 ft fiberglass pool in my home, located at 3958 Vana Dr Sarasota, FL, at a cost of $2,800. You ensured me that the Black Spots present on my pool surface (Cobalt Oxide stains), as well as the lumps accompanying them, would disappear if you were to apply three (3) gel coats to the pool surface. This service was promised to be effective and good for another 10 to 15 years.
  Pursuant to our contract, your work would be guaranteed and completed with satisfaction.
  However, and as you already know, I have had the following problems:
  • Six month after your work was completed, the pool developed the same Black Spots (Cobalt Oxide stains) and bubbles, again.
  • Due to this, my family and I have gone all summer without the use and enjoyment of the pool.
  I contacted you for the first time in February of this year to inform you about this problem, and you told me that you would come by the house to perform a citric acid treatment, empty the pool, and apply another gel coat.
  I have been extremely patient in waiting on your service, as well as continually contacting you by text messaging and phone calls to both your cellular and business phone. While I understand that you have a busy schedule, the wait has now become unreasonable.
  I attempted to contact you by phone last week, on August 15, 2015, to inform you that I need this work completed before September 6, 2015, as my granddaughter is scheduled to have a pool party at my residence on that date. As has been the trend lately, I have received no response from you to this date.
  According to our contract and general warranties of performance, I am entitled to have this work done with reasonable care and skill.
  I would like you to repair this issue within a week or, in the alternative, I would like you to refund my money and I have the services performed by another entity.
  Please respond to this letter by September 1st, 2015. If you fail to respond to this letter, or remedy this issue, in this time, I will have no option but to consider taking the matter further.

  His work is poor at best. He cuts corners wherever he can. Good luck with getting him to show up after a check has been handed over. He makes excuses for everything. Please stay away from this contractor. If you do not believe me, please google permits that he has pulled (public record), and take a look at how many failed inspections he has and how long it takes him to complete a job.
