I hired Tony to finish a basement. After more than a year the basement still will not pass code and Tony has become completely non responsive to requests to address the various gaps.
Tony will represent that he is skilled at doing all manner of construction work, and will present with extreme self confidence. Unfortunately, clearly the building inspector disagrees.
Tony twice abandoned the project unfinished to go do other projects and could not be counted on to stay remotely on schedule.
While the finished product isn’t horrible, there are parts that have fallen apart and Tony is neither familiar with the full code requirements nor willing to address them.
