Frank Petruso was our Architect for the construction of our new home.He is competent and does a lot of work in Bayside, Whitestone and Malba. I would highly recommend him in our neighborhood especially for a residential building.

When Frank Petruso was recommended to me, he was mentioned as someone who isn't as bad as all the rest of the Architects.I think that was mentioned because of their reputation of taking forever and not responding.I think he did very good work and was more than fair. I'd give him 3.5 to 4 rating out of 5. With that said, I've heard others are very bad...which makes him even better I guess.

Frank Petruso is my architect and I do recommend him. He designed my house according to my specific needs and likings. I knew exactly what I wanted inside my house and how I wanted my house to look like. So in that aspect I walked into his office prepared with my checklist of things I wanted.He filed everything and got DOB without any problems. He self certifies so typically you can get approval faster but that also depends on how busy or backed up DOB is. You or your client have nothing to lose if you call him for a consultation. Then you will have a better idea if he is the right architect for the job. I interview 3 architects before I chose Frank Petruso.

Overall we had a good experience with Mr.Petrusso. Everything from drawing the plan to the completion of the job went relatively fast. We had a some delay with windows because they order wrong ones and since it was a special order we had to wait another 8 weeks. Hard to find whose fault was that, everyone was playing a blaming game.

My experience with Frank Petruso was a very good one. Frank is very experienced, reliable, prompt and honest with his work. The project was for my own house which I was the GC and we completed the within 13 months. Once the plans were completed by Frank and his team, his office was on top of the work from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend Frank to a friend and any of my personal clients without hesitation.

Frank Petruso is very professional and very easy to work with. I've used him twice and received my plans quick. I would definitely recommend him.

Frank Petruso did the design for my home. We are currently still finishing the job. Frank has a lot of knowledge about queens zoning and building rules. he handles all the work with building department so thats goods. He is also very good at design but you will notice the design is similar to all his others.

The only bad thing I would say is that it's very hard to get in touch with him. You can call his office and leave messages but you will not be able to contact him directly on his cell. You have to wait for him to call you back and that takes days sometimes.

If this is your first job and needs a more hands on architect then Frank may not be best for you. But if you have some experience and want it done right from start to finish then Frank is a good fit.

Frank was our third architect. The first two were taking too long and were unreliable. From our experience, Frank was less expensive than others, and he knows the laws of our neighborhood quite well. He was able to get the drawings for us almost at the time promised and he recommended a contractor which we we're very happy with. We are still working with him because the project is not done yet. He's a very busy man so you need to take that into consideration.

Frank Petruso is a reputable architect in my area. His price was reasonable and he is a responsible person. So far, I am very happy with his professional services.
